The third seminar is coming soon!
The Historical Atlas of America has been integrating several perspectives on the continent. Former seminars discussed the pre-Columbian nations as historical roots as well as the colonial period circumstances. Now, it is our time to focus on the 19th and 20th centuries of the Americas, which have been so important in the current configuration of their diversity and coincidence.
The Historical Atlas project has integrated cartographic, historical, sociological, economic and political perspectives, among other ways to build up a transdisciplinary approach. Therefore, this virtual space serves as a first node of dialogue for the Americanist community. All interested thinkers from within and outside the academic fields are invited to this initiative of dialogue and interaction. The effort will flourish in knowledge, research and appreciation for America and its people.
We have been receiving proposals until Aug 9
